2 Corinthians 10 Paul’s Defense of His Ministry
1 By the humility and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you—I, Paul, who am “timid” when face to face with you, but “bold” toward you when away! 2 I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world. 3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
1 我 保 羅 ， 就 是 與 你 們 見 面 的 時 候 是 謙 卑 的 ， 不 在 你 們 那 裡 的 時 候 向 你 們 是 勇 敢 的 ， 如 今 親 自 藉 著 基 督 的 溫 柔 、 和 平 勸 你 們 。
2 有 人 以 為 我 是 憑 著 血 氣 行 事 ， 我 也 以 為 必 須 用 勇 敢 待 這 等 人 ； 求 你 們 不 要 叫 我 在 你 們 那 裡 的 時 候 ， 有 這 樣 的 勇 敢 。
3 因 為 我 們 雖 然 在 血 氣 中 行 事 ， 卻 不 憑 著 血 氣 爭 戰 。
4 我 們 爭 戰 的 兵 器 本 不 是 屬 血 氣 的 ， 乃 是 在 神 面 前 有 能 力 ， 可 以 攻 破 堅 固 的 營 壘 ，
5 將 各 樣 的 計 謀 ， 各 樣 攔 阻 人 認 識 神 的 那 些 自 高 之 事 ， 一 概 攻 破 了 ， 又 將 人 所 有 的 心 意 奪 回 ， 使 他 都 順 服 基 督 。
6 並 且 我 已 經 預 備 好 了 ， 等 你 們 十 分 順 服 的 時 候 ， 要 責 罰 那 一 切 不 順 服 的 人 。
Morning everyone!
Today is a great new day, beginning of the week, after the busiest weekend but I felt so excited being able to especially involve in CAT's study, and was finally able to bring my friend Kitty and her daughter, Joyce, who's just gradurated from the US and Kitty really wants her daughter to know us more and join our sunday service and wants her to know as many of our sisters as possible, so it is great start and hope we can set up study with her very soon.
As the scripture reminds us today is that although we live in this world and we do not comply with the standard of the world but to protect the knowledge of God, so whenever we study the bible with friends we are to 'demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God', therefore I just enjoy being the ambassador of God to speak for him.
So am I prepared to speak for God? Yes as Cat's eagerness really touches us and she really wants us to continue to study the bible with her, will study repentence and baptism with her tonight and please pray for her.
