2 Corinthians 7:10-11 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
Good afternoon to you all,
Great conviction from Brenda on being true to ourselves and facing up to our old self and being willing to deny ourself to change to the new self. This is not always easy at times but I believe with the strength and power God has given us, we can change this amen. For me the scripture on true repentence is a something that was on my heart when I prayed in the park at lunchtime. Being able to change to our new self require alot of true godly repentence and not worldly sorrow. For me planning is not my strength, I will want to do everything else but plan things especially in the area of time management. Sometimes I have worked on this area and tried to become better at it but other times it just comes up from the surface again and then I find myself late for appointments. I hope to really get a Godly sorrow about this and have the willingness to change from the heart level. I ask all of your to pray for me to work on this area step by step with God's strength and the help of Daniel and others that God has put into my life.
Yes like Brenda reminded us today that we have people/angels that God has put in our life to show and guide us to keep changing and I hope that we can make use of these opportunies continually and have a grateful heart about this. I also pray for us to be open with our friends in love when we see something is not right rather than just ignore it.
Today I enjoyed teaching my 5 classes. I found the children were so eager to learn English. I can learn from their simple hearts too.
Love to you all,
