今日day off真開心，可以有更長的QT。

當我今天再看耶穌被釘的過程到斷氣•••

心情很沉重，再一次回想起自己當初的回應，

要天天背起十架•••

這星期煩惱的事好像多了，如以前的我一定

會逃避•••但感謝神讓我有力量面對

梗記起當日耶穌為我十架的犧牲•••

想起了那大使命•••決意堅定的跟隨神。

梗要在家裡在工作在朋友都希望他們籍

着我的改變，有機會認識為他們犧牲的耶穌•••

可以感覺到神的愛，讓他們也有改變的生命

加油••希望今日的分享可以為大家打氣，

為神的原故帶梗多的朋友仔返去神身邊

Yeah~~今晚可以見到大家啦

2011 Jan 19 - The prayer of the righteous - Brenda

Hey Morning everyone!

 

Great to hear from Shelley-bean, 18 degrees? same as here in Melbourne but it's summer here in OZ.  And your 1st House church in Railway, welcome!(even I'm not there). Wish you enjoy the fellowship with the bros and sis there!

 

Yeah I agree with u Shells God is with us all the time. I have the strong feeling here in Oz as I can see God's beautiful nature so easily and when I prayed to God this morning at the backyard of my house I can see the beautiful blue sky with lots of birds singing, next to the apple tree at the yard and I can just easily imagine God's listening to my prayer and singing to him.

 

Here's what I read today from the book 'The prayer of the righteous' by Mark Templer....

 

"God made everything we can see, and all we cannot see. He made all the stars. Some scientists tell us that if each were a grain of sand, they would cover the entire earth a foot deep. Yet each one has a name known to God(Ps 147:4 - ⁴ He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. ), he made the mountains and the weather; He created the solar system and all the galaxies, yet he also 'reveals his thoughts to man' (Amos 4:13). The prophet Nahum said, the 'clouds are the dust of his feet'(Nahum 1:3). Not even a sparrow can fall to the ground without his knowing about it(Matt 10:29)......

 

I am so touched by how humble and gentle God is as even though he can do everything and rule the world he still let's us to make lots of decisions by ourselve as he respects us so much, he let us to decide if we really want to love him even though he wants to...

2011 Jan 19 - Zephaniah 3 - Shelley

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He
will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he
will rejoice over you with singing.
 
Goodmorning friends,
 
It's 18 degrees today and the sun is shining so blightly. Thanks be to
God. I love the scripture as a great reminder to me when I face hard
times to remember that God is with us. Sometimes we get so caught up
in our fears, problem or challenges that it's easy to be discouraged.
Meditating on God's word and His promises will help me to fight
against the attacks of the enemy especially in my thoughts. As every
thought follows on with an attitude, action, it becomes our character
and eventually our purpose and mission in life. What will our altimate
mission be for God? How can we work our way to get to God's purpose
for our life? I believe it takes effort from our side to be in His
word daily, to meditate on it and then to apply it to our lives. I
wish all of us can use His word powerfully to attack the enemy's
schemes esp on our negative thinking.
 
Yesterday Ivy and I had the opportunity in the afternoon to invite
some students at PolyU to the service on Sunday. I tried my best to
introduce myself in Cantonese and invite them but automatically
started speaking English as some of them wanted to speak English to
practise I guess. The two students that really stood out for us were
Queenie and Elaine. Elaine is from Fujian province. I pray that
Queenie will want to come out to our service on Sunday but both of
them gave us their numbers and we can follow up with them for more
activities we will have on the campus this year. I am praying for an
opportunity sometime this year to have an English corner or discussion
group on campus as I see some of the students would like to go to
this.
 
Wish you all have a fruitful day today and use God's word powerfully
to help us to be faithful and remain positive. God has so many
promises in His word to encourage us.
