Proverbs 15:13 

"A glad heart makes a cheerful face,

Goodmorning all,

 

Wow the humidity is very high this morning. I could not see outside of my room window, it was full of mist and cloud in Ma Wan but at least not as cold as it has been.

 

I reflected today on Proverbs as I feel it is a book of so many wise words that I need to remind myself of daily. Sometimes I forget how to be wise in some situations as I get so caught up in my daily life and with work. This is a great reminder to me today to keep a good attitude at all times that is in good and bad times. A cheerful heart will show up in our appearance. When others respond to me in ways I don't always like or agree with, I feel this scripture reminds me to keep my attitude right. I can control my attitude but I cannot always determine how others will treat me. I feel Jesus calls us to a high standard of love and how we should treat others around us. If we are feeling bad all the time we cannot enjoy the life God has given us so freely.

 

I wish for all of us to keep a content and grateful heart.

John 5:24

Dear all! Good morning everyone!

I'm on my way to Guangzhou visiting my dad now as u haven't seen him for a long time!

Shelley told me the humidity is 98% today which u hate it so much. As I was already used to the Aussie weather but now its cold and humid. The world is getting sick and you can see H5n1 killed quite a few people in Hong Kong. What I really need to think of is our eternity,our future,the plan the God says to us in Jeremiah 29:11.

Let's just grab our simple conviction today to live a faithful life this year!

About Joey, I had a good time with her yesterday and we went to QM together,doctor advised her take another month resting. I asked her to write down the plan for this month and make good use of the time for QT and pray. We had a good praying time in central yesterday and we are now much bonded to each other. She initiated to have bible study with her and will seek more advice. Please pray for her heart to be humble to restore her relationship with God.
