2010 Dec 15 - John 10 - Shelley

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Goodmorning all,

Today I got to pray with a really awesome Chinese sister who is visiting us from South Africa. She has been my friend for more than 13 years and has known me when I was a campus student. As we prayed today it was a great reminder to me that no matter what our status is whether we are single, dating or married that we need to always remember that we are already 'complete' and don't need any more supplements like extras if we have extras and God answers it, it is a bonus or a cherry on top of a cake. We already have the gift of salvation today. Lets celebrate in it and be glad as our cups are filled to the brim with Christ's love and sacrifice for us. Satan comes to destroy our hearts by allowing us to give into our selfish desires but the good news is Jesus has come to give us life to the full.

I am driven to follow Jesus and His plan because I know that He fills us up in every way. What will your decision be?

Enjoy the day that God has made.

2010 Dec 15 - Proverbs 15 - Brenda

Proverbs 15:1
15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
This verses pops up today in my daily verse @my mobile.. its simple but we really need this reminder from time to time. As whenever we want to protect ourselves we will say something careless and rough. But soft answer builds up others but harsh words destroys relationship.
Let's encourage each other with soft answer.
Love you guys
