"這是甚麼緣故呢．是因為他們不憑著信心求、只憑著行為求．他們正跌在那絆腳石上．
就如經上所記、『我在錫安放一塊絆腳的石頭、跌人的磐石．信靠他的人必不至於羞愧。』"

(羅9:32-33) 當琴晚睇個套"催淚片"…其實有好多淚係心裹流緊T^T 佢好令我再feel多左愛係咩野…咩野係因為愛神而將佢放係第一位.. 一個人面對人生前路個陣點樣去完完全全依靠神.. 有時都幾怕睇呢d野..因為老實講..越睇個陣越見到自己ge不足~ 自己ge軟弱..並且又係一個好大好難ge挑戰=[ 好多時我都會pray，求神唔好比我面對困境… 但當我係困境中個陣..原來我唔係第一時間去pray,, 而係任由自己情緒氾濫…之後先再pray.. 當我今日睇到羅馬書第9章32-33卯個陣,,我真係不停咁諗~ 不諗問自己今日我相信神係會聽禱告ge信心去左邊? 究竟我ge信係100%? 80%? 定50%? 琴晚Eric ge生命好提醒我信靠ge功課，而今日QT神又再次 提醒我禱告ge信心…仲好記得Alex上次講道話: pray ge信心 = 神蹟，咁我今日又有幾信神蹟會係我生命發生呢? 原來當有事情發生我係會先靠自己解決先…攪唔掂先去pray交比神~ 面對日後我個基督徒生命，我係米都要繼續咁呢? 呢期我大部份唔開心都係黎自我工作，好唔明白點解人係咁可怕.. 曾經好多好多次，我好想辭職唔做… 今早我又要面對呢d唔開心事情，當殺那好想走， 但卻好奇怪咁諗返起Eric ge生平…想返起佢日日對住一d仇敵… 佢冇選擇逃避，相反Eric冇去憎佢地仲要為佢地pray,,, 真係諗反起聖經話:要愛你ge仇敵" 呢一句話~ 而今日我面對呢班唔可愛ge人我又會點做呢? 其實今日有好多野衝激住我生命，當我生命被挑戰時.. 好想依靠神更多，好想自己個信心更堅固.. 所以大家幫我pray下啦=]話晒我而家都仲係BB仔=v=" 得2個幾月大ga咋..都幾需要大家鼓勵同walk with成長ga^^ 好啦，今日係得咁多先~~遲d見… With Love, Cat Meow

Dear all,

Have a very bad sleep yesterday night, "胃酸倒流"

Inspired by Eric Liddle's life, his motivation and determination to give the best of himself for God.

Never want to wake up, actually sleep for only 2-3 hrs. But amazing things happen that the rain stopped when we go out and sing hymns and pray.

We sang <<先求他的國和義>>, <<Be still my soul>> and <<渴想你的愛>>, and share what we are thinking recently.

Always inspire by Steve that he always seek for greater vision and to do greater things ^^

Very tired now. haha, forget what's next: to share some conviction today :)

Read the QT material and find out that we need to fast tmr. OOOOOOOOOO

Just wanna fast for my determine heart and also grateful to God.

And also read Psalm 145

An acrostic poem, do you know what's that mean?

Just like some style, with the verses begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

Maybe Klara would like to write something like that haha (let her finish her 1st album for God first, she has start her third song)

I think at most I can only think of some nouns/ phases/ clauses, or verse start with each letter

A: Awesome, amazing

B: Better heart, better life

C: Caring, cheerful

...

O: Open my eyes, O Lord; so that I can read things in your way.

...

OK, I find it very difficult @@, how patience David was, and Klara is, to make some Poems/ songs to God.

Here comes the verse I would like to share:

" Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.

On the glorious splendor of your majesty and on your wonderful works I will meditate." Psalm 145:3 -5

"耶和華本為大，該受大讚美，其大無法測度。

這代要對那代頌讚你的作為，也要傳揚你的大能。

我要默念你威嚴的尊榮，和你奇妙的作為。"

一睇到e 段經文，就諗起好鐘意"大" 的Cat，亦都令e 篇psalm more interesting ^^ (because we cannot see the successive letters), but there are so many "great (大)" in this Psalm.

大德 (v6, great deeds), 大恩 (abundant goodness v7), 大有慈愛 (v8, rich in love), 大能 (v11, mighty acts)

So, God is really really great and awesome, he stopped the rain and ask the sun to shine through the clouds, to encough me and Steve today.

God wants us to like him too, so he has plant a seed on us, to give us a vision to be great ^^

But first of all, remember to fear God.

v18, 19 The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth

He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them."

Surely the desires of those who fear him would be something you want to give best to the Lord (so it is a good thing, I remember in <<Wild at Heart.>> mentioned, it is God give us desires in order to drive things better and greater), but first and most important, to equip a true heart and fear God.

2011 Mar 03 - Psalm 27 - Brenda

Morning dearest all,

 

Was qutie a refreshing morning have QT with Anita at 7am as usual but this time we were in Tsing YI.  Glad that I always have my spiritual partner with me and Anita is one of them.

 

Last night was quite a touching night after watching 'Eric Liddell' inspiring tory, my heart was stirred up as I can truly see a real life who carries the spirit of the christ and lived his life to the full for though he died in his young age. 'The secret of my success over the 400m is that I run the first 200m as fast as I can. Then, for the second 200m, with God's help I Run Faster."

 

In our Xian life, we would run as fast as we can most somehow when we are down and disappointed, we would have God's help who made us running faster. 

 

 In Ps 27:1

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Shall we leave all our burdens to God as he's the one who gives me strength of my life!

Hey good morning all,

 

This morning was so fresh and cool as I went for my 25 minute job around Ma Wan. Listening to Christian songs by Michael W Smith just lifted up my spirits and reminded me that spiritual training is more valuable than the physical. The philosophy behind the word 'training' is that it's a process and it does take effort on our part.

 

I am inspired by a current self help book I am reading by Dale Carnegie on How to Win Friends and Influence People the following quotation came to light: "Actions seems to follow feeling, but really action and feeling go together; and by regulating (practising) the action, which is under the more direct control of the will, we can indirectly regulate the feeling, which is not. This is so interesting as I realise we can't always control our feelings immediately so Jesus reminds us to deny ourselves in our actions and decisions so that our feelings will follow as it does not come automatic. Sometimes we feel very weary when we think of training as it does not come automatic to all people, not everyone is a physical runner but spiritually even though it not our talent to do something for God it's our responsibility to fulfill it with the help of others He has put in our lives.

 

After school today I get to meet up with some colleagues at Pokke cafe to learn some Cantonese in a natural way. Looking forward to the challenge.

早晨.....................

 

琴晚HC睇左一套好值得我地反思既記錄片...........

特別係晌eric跑400 m後講既野................前200m係靠自己跑............後200m就係靠神比力量跑..............

唔知點解我會諗到今日前200m應該跑完.................因為晌我未係x'ian時...........我好多野都係靠自己同為自己做...........

而今日我已經係一個x'ian............我係唔係可以學eric咁樣倚靠住神比力量我跑埋人生餘下既200m呢......???

雖然唔知係仲有幾耐..............但都好被eric既life提醒.............今日我追求緊係係一個可壞既冠冕定係一個由神比我地一個不能壞既冠冕呢.......???
