Morning everyone!!!

Thanks for Shelley's conviction I am seeing the enjoyment that you have with God everyday!

Today I went out to the QT station again in Meifoo and I am so glad that we still love to get together in Xmas eve as seems everyone is so relaxing about having holiday soon but appreciate that they won't forget the most important thing is to stay close to God. Thanks ah Yan who's also inititative in put us together.  Today we have discussed Gen 45 about Joseph's forgiveness after he had told everyone (his brothers) the truth that he's betrayed and sold, especially ⁴ Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come close to me.” When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!⁵ And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.  It's amazing to see Joseph's great heart to forgive and forget his brothers fault and even loved them back.  It reminds me God's love and how great he's as his love is not sensible.

The question today was is there anyone we are still not be able to forget and forgive, pray hard and learn from Joseph's heart. To me I need to pray hard as I have something inside my heart there's still someone I couldn't forget is that someone I used to love deeply and walked with them but then they left the church. I need to pray hard and not just forgive but to pray for them they would come back to God one day.

Let's pray for our heart to learn from Joseph especially at the end of the year, for our forgiveness heart.

2010 Dec 24 - 1 Corinthians 15 - Shelley

1 Corinthians 15:58 'Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.'

 

Had a bit of insomia last night and was up really early this morning. Have an automatic alarm clock I guess but glad to be up early today. Had a busy day yesterday at Ocean Park with Jordan who is a Elaine Lai's son. Learning to love a child unconditionally and be willing to be there for him even when I was feeling tired but I was so happy to spend the day with him.Taking it easy today and preparing cards for our Christmas party tonight at house church. This scripture encourages me to keep on as disciple even when it's tough as God promises us that our labour is not in vain. Let's keep on even in those dry times that we will face in 2011 as God is there to walk with us and love us and carry us through.

What an incredible baptism to witness last night. God is so good. To God be the glory. God gave us this opportunity to love someone and it helps our hearts to sacrifice and learn how to love the way Jesus did. Wish Cat have an amazing time and journey in our family and a great deep relationship with God. Even though it was so cold I could see how giving everyone was and also that some of you didn't even have your dinner before. That is true sacrifice to God.
